Ava Anderson, a sophomore at Ridgefield High School is organizing a children’s book drive to support our local bookstore, Books on the Common and to benefit an amazing local organization, Family and Children’s Aid.

You can purchase books in-store or email a dollar amount you would like to spend to  [email protected]. They will call you for credit card info and then purchase books on your behalf.

Books on the Common is located at 404 Main Street in Ridgefield.

Family & Children’s Aid (FCA) is a child-focused 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization offering high quality, innovative mental health care for children and their families.

FCA operates under the belief that children are society’s most valuable assets. For over 200 years, FCA has been providing children with safe homes and therapeutic support allowing children to lead healthier lives. FCA believes that seeking help is a sign of strength. We believe excellent care should be available to individuals and families in all walks of life, whenever needed.
