Blueprints and Blue Jeans Fundraiser

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity will hold its first annual Blueprints and Blue Jeans fundraising event to celebrate its 30th anniversary on September 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, CT.

“At Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, we are not fancy people,” says Executive Director Diana Arfine. “We are builders, change makers, the roll-up-your-sleeve-and-get-it-done type. For one night only, we are trading our work boots for party attire to raise funds for our mission of building homes for hard-working families throughout Fairfield and Litchfield Counties.”

Housatonic Habitat was started 30 years ago by a group of Ridgefielders, including Lou Price, former owner of Ridgefield Supply, and John Patrick, this year’s honoree, with offices on Bailey Avenue. The organization has grown to encompass 15 towns in Western Connecticut.

Blueprints & Blue Jeans is the organization’s largest fundraising event of the year and will include lively entertainment with comedian Christine O’Leary, music by local artist Jim Endee, a high-end live auction, bourbon tasting with Litchfield Distillery, delicious cuisine by Bailey’s Backyard, and much more! This fun-filled event will unite industry leaders, builders, Habitat homeowners and volunteers and community partners for an evening of purpose-driven entertainment and fundraising.

Sponsorships and auction items are still needed. All donations are greatly appreciated. Auction items can be anything from an “experience” to art, dining, store gift cards and more. Tickets are $125 each, groups of 10 are $1000.
