One of the greatest hard rock bands of all time returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse on May 4th! Blue Öyster Cult has been thrilling fans worldwide with their potent albums and classic songs for five decades and counting. BÖC’s canon includes three stone-cold classic songs that will waft through the cosmos long after the sun has burned out: The truly haunting “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” from 1976’s Agents of Fortune, the pummeling “Godzilla” from 1977’s Spectres and the hypnotically melodic “Burnin’ for You” from 1981’s Fire of Unknown Origin. Their work is revered by in the hard rock and heavy metal scenes for their pioneering work, critical acclaim and mainstream commercial success. BÖC’s original core due of vocalist/lead guitarist Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser and vocalist/rhythm guitarist Eric Bloom are augmented on stage by Richie Castellano on guitar and keys, Danny Miranda on bass and Jules Radino on drums for a rollicking live show, well-honed over many years of a relentless schedule of touring and performing.
