Join us as the Ridgefield Library and ArtScapades present a special art lecture looking at how artists have portrayed cities over the ages.

The artists included are Vermeer, Canaletto, Pissarro, Bellows, Sloan, O’Keeffe, Hopper, Mondrian, Bearden and Basquiat… a wide range!

ArtScapades experts look at the important artists and movements of the period, including background information on each artist’s life and work, characteristics of style, and the relationship of the artistic movements to historical and intellectual currents of the time

Wine & cheese will be served.
