ARTalk: Connection and Transcendence Through Art

In this ARTalk, Michael Gitlitz, will talk about the history, mission, and architecture of the KMA while featuring several past, current, and future exhibitions of note at the Museum. He will also discuss how the KMA and his vision are driven by a desire to create connections within communities. He will also touch upon how the Museum has remained vital through artists’ and scholars’ talks and virtual exhibitions.

Gitlitz has a Post-Graduate Diploma in the Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute in London and was named KMA Executive Director in 2018.
