In 1990, he became the first stand-up comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden for two consecutive nights: Andrew Dice Clay, who rose to fame with his deliberately offensive persona known as “The Diceman,” is an American stand-up comedian, actor, musician, and producer. Now, he’s bringing his signature brand of humor — described as “lewd, rude, and crude” — back to the Ridgefield Playhouse stage. One of America’s most controversial and outrageous comics, Clay has enjoyed a long, successful comedy career, having released numerous best-selling DVDs and CDs of his performances and starring in HBO and Showtime standup specials including “The Diceman Cometh” and “Indestructible.”
