Event Details
The Ridgefield Theater Barn is thrilled to be bringing Whose Barn is it Anyway? back to their stage to celebrate Spring with some laughter. Friday, April 26th at 8pm, Matt Austin will host an evening of unpredictable fun. Seating is cabaret-style, and the audience is invited to bring food and drinks (concessions are also available in the lobby). Doors open one hour prior to curtain.
This spontaneous evening of skits and games, based on suggestions from the audience, has no script and no plot. Performers are thrust into situations where they must use their imagination and comedic instincts, and what evolves is a combination of stand-up comedy and game show—with hilarious results. In the unpredictable world of improvisational comedy, anything can happen…and usually does. But what makes improv so unique and engaging, is that the audience participates in the mayhem.
So be prepared to enter a wacky world of anything-goes folly, because the only thing that is predictable is an evening of laughs for everyone. Due to the spontaneous nature of improvisation, performances may contain adult language and themes that may not be suitable for children. Parental discretion is advised.
RTB is located at 37 Halpin Lane. Tickets are $15 & reservations can be made online.

Tenors Matthew Polenzani and Jonathan Tetelman co-star as the callous American naval officer Pinkerton, whose betrayal destroys her. Mezzo-sopranos Elizabeth DeShong and Eve Gigliotti share the role of the steadfast maid Suzuki, and baritone Davide Luciano and Lucas Meachem are the American consul Sharpless. Acclaimed maestro Xian Zhang makes her Met debut conducting Anthony Minghella’s vivid production.
